It’s been months since Aria last saw Perry. Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission. Now, finally, they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don’t take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe’s precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.

Threatened by false friends and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder, can their love survive through the ever night?

My review:

I hadn’t planned on listening to this book, because I really didn’t like the first on so well. But, I saw it as I was browsing for books to listen to while I was working, and I thought, why not? I wasn’t disappointed at all. In fact, I liked this books so much I decided to forgive the first one.

Though I do have something to complain about. The two main characters were separated for almost the whole book, and I just had an issue with it. It was a nice set up to the next book, I just wish that there had been more of the together, though at least one of the reasons for their separation was an actual concern.

In all honestly, from the time I’m writing this review, it’s been several weeks since I read the book, so I can’t remember details. Sorry for the recently crappy reviews, really, but I’ve started actually reading again (and I actually have time to write reviews) so they should be better, and longer. Thanks for hanging in there!
